Sean and his team worked on our build in 2019 over 4 months. From first contact late in 2018 Sean was helpful, and professional and inspired confidence in his ability to do the work. All his team are really pleasant people to have around. Happy to show you what they are doing and answer questions.
Our build wasn’t straight forward, it was a take down and rebuild of a flying extension kitchen with no outside access, so everything went through the house. We had previously met several other builders and companies who we chose not to work with.
Sean took time to discuss the build and project early on giving advice at quote stage. He then provided a quote which was broken into sections and easy for us to understand. Sean’s quote was very competitive. There were only two unforeseen extras necessary ( which couldn’t have been foreseen until we started the work). Sean problem solved these without fuss, coming to us immediately with options and fair prices for the work needed. Sean and his team worked quickly throughout the build and delivered work to the price of the original quote with no dramas, which we were really grateful for.
Sean dealt with our architect and structural engineer to provide the best build possible for our budget, coming up with some ideas which he then liaised directly with the those teams over. He worked with our suppliers when we chose to buy things ourselves such as windows and kitchen. Any materials he sourced, he did so at reasonable prices. He also liaised with building control directly.
Sean’s team took on some extra work we decided we wanted while they on site without a fuss, which helped us out massively.
While we are not builders, our neighbour who is a builder commented on the professional standards he’d observed during the build process. We are very happy with the work and loving how space has turned out. It’s exactly as we had hoped and has made a massive difference to our home. The site was cleared up at the end and our house left totally clean.
The build was finished 5 months ago, there has been only a minor amount of snagging to do and Sean got in touch offering to get those started , we have not had to chase him asking him to do those bits.

We were given an initial quote and then once we had planning permission a start date. The start date was met also the project was completed on time. Sean kept us informed of developments throughout and was always available to answer questions. He always returned our calls and his team were always on site working on the job. His team were friendly and respectful and we trusted them in our house.
As the project progressed we made changes to the initial plan and also asked for some extra works. They were flexible about the changes and advised on the best options. We were quoted for the extra works and these were fitted in without any problems.
Sean worked to architects’ and structural engineers’ drawings and identified a couple of issues which were queried and with his help resolved. He was quick to solve problems as they cropped up, either speaking to us, the architect, building regs people or suppliers to find solutions.
Sean was sensitive to the needs of our family living in the house while the job was in progress. He constructed a temporary kitchen, ensured water and electricity were turned back on before leaving in the evening and cleared up at the end of each day. He was also sensitive to our relationship with the neighbours and kept to the restrictions of the party wall agreement around working hours and also arranged in advance when he needed access to the neighbour’s garden for parts of the job. Our neighbour also commented that her patio area had been left clean and tidy after access was needed for work.”
